PRESS RELEASE As you already know that Save Sharmila Campaign, a joint initiative of civil societies (NAPM, Asha Parivar, Mahila Chetna Kendra, Mission Bhartiyam, Yuva Koshish, Khudai Khidmatgar, Jagriti Mahila Samiti, Sadbhavna Mission, Asian Centre of Social Studies and others) is extending its support to non violent struggle of Irom Sharmila Chanu, a lady of Manipur who is on hunger strike since the Year 2000. We already had various activities such as Meetings, Candle Light Solidarity Prayer on 25 June at Rajghat and then volunteer meet with Irom Sharmila at Manipur. Now, as per our scheduled plan, we have submitted the letters to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, President of Indian Natioanl Congress Smt. Sonia Gandhi and Leaders of opposition (Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha). To show our solidarity towards victims of Mumbai bomb blast To show our unity against terrorism HUMAN CHAIN by We the people of INDIA & PAKISTAN Venue: Rajghat, Time: 04:30 PM, 16 JULY 2011 Saturday  We the citizens of India and Pakistan strongly condemn the inhuman and dastardly serial blasts in Mumbai on 13 th  July 2011 in which 21 innocent people were killed and over 140 injured.  We offer our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and pray for quick and complete recovery of all those injured. It is clear that these blasts are a well orchestrated heinous conspiracy to derail the resumption of the dialogue and peace process between India and Pakistan that was stalled following the terrorist attack in Mumbai in 2008.
